KEYBLADE CLASS: ATTACK: The emblem for her class is shown on her sports jacket. RUSTY FUZZ: Basic Keyblade: A well-made Keyblade meant for dealing physical attacks despite its fuzzy name.
WORLDS: **CURRENT** Traverse Town: A quaint little town Aya feels very comfortable in. Despite its rampant surge of Heartless Sableyes, she prefers just lounging about and staring up at the sky.
ABILITY:Flash Fire: Aya not only is unaffected by fire, but she is also powered up, increasing her strength and attacks.
LEVEL:ONE: The starting level.
MOVESET: Flail: When startled or really excited, Aya will use flail on anything involved in her current surroundings, be it a person or just very unfortunate glassware. Tackle: Be careful, because if Aya likes you enough, she will tackle you straight to the ground.
LIKES: Soft things: She adores them more than anything in the world. Strategy: She thrives on puzzles and strategic games. It isn’t often one can find her without some sort of sudoku or crossword in her hands in her free time. Technology: Even though she causes things to explode more often than thrive, she adores technology and does her best to stay up-to-date on all things technological. Cars: CARS CARS CARS VROOM VROOM Confined spaces: She really likes feeling all cozy, and small areas make her feel best. Warmth: Being a Fire type, she adores warmth and everything that gives off heat, including other people. Involuntarily during her sleep, she’ll sometimes get up and go off in search of a person to curl up next to.
DISLIKES: Water: Save for hot water, Aya really doesn’t like water save for the occasional rain. She especially hates waterfalls, although they’re quite pretty to look at. Dirt: She doesn’t like being dirty. Yuck. Due to this, she’s a bit of a germophobe. Being alone: She really doesn’t like being alone, especially after the kidnapping incident. She likes being around a lot of other people. Winter: Even though she isn’t affected by the cold and she likes snow, she hates the fact everything just looks dead in winter. Accidentally burning things: “I didn’t mean to, I swear I didn’t, it just happened, I couldn’t help it, a-a-a-and…” Languages: She has no skill at learning languages at all. She tried learning other languages and drastically failed each time. Literally, when it was a class.
HISTORY: Born out of wedlock to a Flareon mother and Linoone father, Aya started out in Twilight Town. Her family lived in a back-alley shack that, despite its rotting structure, her mother did her best to keep tidy (even though the effort was in vain thanks to her slob of a mate.) Aya was kept usually inside, not really communicating with other young Pokémon due to her mother’s solitary beliefs. Her father did her best to get her more involved in things as she grew older, but her mother’s fears resulted in any attempts ending in futility.
Aya was sent to a private school thanks to her street fighting father’s “connections.” On her way to school one morning, she was kidnapped by a rogue Staraptor, carried away and sold off to an unnamed customer so quickly. The plans were foiled when during transport, the truck delivering the hostages was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle, totaling both automobiles and letting all the kids escape. With the help of her fellow victims, Aya made it to authorities and eventually back home. H er mother was thrilled to have her back. Her father…was not.
Years would pass until Aya finally announced to her family she was eligible for a higher education at a prestigious college. Her mother was ecstatic, having wished a better life for her daughter than merely residing within a run-down shanty. Her father erupted in rage, shouting how it must’ve been a scam or something. When Aya tried to talk to her father, to reason with him, he lashed out, reaching to choke his daughter. In surprise and anger, Aya went to defend herself, a mysterious weapon forming within her grasp: a key-like weapon. With it, she calmed her distressed father with a smack to the head. He fell down and grew unconscious, a dark miasma dispelled from his body and dissipating into the walls. Her father ended up all right, albeit incredibly confused. The past few months had all been a blur to him, reoccurring blackouts plaguing his memory.
Things went back to normal—except for the key-like weapon within Aya’s possession. She had tried to figure out not only why it had appeared, but also why it seemed like she couldn’t lose it! Her questions would be answered not through her tedious researching, but on her last day of college, as a dark-haired Weavile woman came to her on a nighttime trek back from college. The woman told Aya what she held was a Keyblade, that she was a “chosen one”, but nothing more. The woman then vanished, leaving Aya with only a name to her weapon: the Keyblade.
After a little research, Aya found a gathering of sorts of those with Keyblades in ap lace called “Traverse Town.” She bid adieu to her parents and went out on her own. Once she arrived, however, she was swarmed by black creatures! Luckily, with the help of two others, she fended them off. Victorious in the end, the triad decided on dinner, Aya offering to treat.
Over diner, Aya learned that her two comrades were known as Skye, a Dragonite, and Shane, a Mareep. They, too, held Keyblades, though different from Aya’s own. They attempted to discuss further, but Skye accidentally caused…damage and resulted in the three being…removed from the restaurant. The predicament didn’t damper their cheery moods, the three friends laughing about it all.
Deciding to carry on their discussion in the streets, they concluded that there would be no better choice then but team up together to face the rising evil at hand, Skye explaining that teams of three were being chosen to fight against the rising threat. Aya cheerily obliged, glad to make friends so easily. Looks like a positive outlook on an otherwise unknown path.
However, things didn't go as planned--the three friends ended up unable to join as a team and ended up going their separate ways, Aya finding herself in a group of unlikely pals: August, the chef of a Tauros, and Joe, the silly Simisear. Things started off to a pleasant start yet again (without anything broken, for once), and so began Aya's time in her new team, Team Blazing Bull.
Whilst she began her stay in Traverse Town, she came across a Mightyena scrounging about in a trashcan. She came closer to the Mightyena just a bit, but it was enough for him to rear his head around and growl at her. Before she could back up enough, the Mightyena lunged at her, tackling her to the ground, opening up his jowls and...proceeding to lick her face like mad. Giggling and laughing, Aya no longer felt intimidation from the Mightyena, believing it to have only been caused by the big guy’s Ability, Intimidation. She decided to take him in and named the Pokémon Michael, Aya’s newfound pet.
PERSONALITY: Often bubbly and a tad flaky, Aya is usually with a smile and a kind thing to say. When she’s happy, you’ll know it—same with being sad. When down, she’ll sit still with a dead lok in her eyes and a deadpan tone when she speaks. She otherwise loves to talk, talk, talk, but only if she knows you’re willing ot listen. If she feels nervous or uncomfortable, she’ll clam up and only give very small, meek responses when spoken to. If she’s really scared about something, nto only will she stay quiet, but she’ll also turn tail and run the other way!
In battle, she’s hard to scare unless up against a huge opponent. She’s always with a plan nor two—or ten. Unlike in cozier circumstances, Aya turns serious and focused, knowing battle isn’t a time to mess up or goof around. More a strategist than an actual leader, Aya will always do her best to come up with actions but have someone else give them. Reason being? She hates the limelight. (This also means she has stage fright.)
When the deed is done and the battle is won, Aya will be a sore winner about it—the only time she’s actually smug. The same can be said when a loss is taken: she’s a sore loser, going so far as to actually throw a tantrum!
When left alone, one can overhear Aya talking to herself at times. On rare occasion, she will often switch moods as though on a dime, going from her normal happy self to an extremely angry rampage, aiming to destroy everything in sight (pretty much “Link in a Pottery Shop” syndrome.) She isn’t even aware that this is abnormal, seemingly inheriting it from her mother, who was known to be a normally calm woman, yet have her great instances of strange moods at times.
EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT: Aya is 5’7”. She’s more active at daytime than nighttime. She loves affection. Gooey, liquid-filled food items are the best things to eat. When she talks, she’ll often trip over her own tongue. Jumpsuits are cool no matter what you say to her. Chapstick is something she’ll always carry in her pocket. Doesn’t mean she’ll wear it, per se—just means she likes toting it around “just in case.” “Better safe than sorry” is this girl’s life motto.
